For that matter, still learning LR.įeel free to be blunt. I have Topaz, but still trying to learn to use it. I masked a bunch of different areas (too obvious?), and felt like I edited it to a ridiculous degree. Didn't have tons of time to fiddle with the settings. Obviously, the deer was not too interested in posing for long. I was able to brace against a tree, so I slowed my ss way down, but maybe should have went lower. Since it had been sunny, the ground had warmed enough that as the night was falling there was some atmospheric effect. It had been very sunny, and the sun had just set or nearly (6:03PM Indiana time). This shot was probably 50 yards, or farther.

I was out of my car and 5 yards away from it. I was shooting from the edge of the road. I was driving back to my house from Salamonie Dam, where I had been trying to get some decent shots of Bald Eagles, and I caught this buck on some private property.

Wondering if there is anything that can be suggested to improve this photo, or to be done differently for the next time.
